UW Women's Basketball

The Dawgs, playing their second consecutive overtime game, came up short against Arizona State, 67-61, on Thursday (2/4/10). The women hoopsters were led by Laura McLellan's 18 points, but gave up too many offensive rebounds and easy put backs to the Sun Devils. The Huskies traveled on to Tuscon, and lost big to the Arizona Wildcats, 80-50, on Saturday (2/6/10) – dropping their conference record to 4-7. This week, it's a huge home-stand against the Bay Area schools with the nation's second ranked Stanford Cardinal visiting on Friday at 7PM, and the Cal Bears come to the Bank of America Arena on Sunday at 2PM.
